Datsun is a Japanese automobile brand owned by Nissan. It sold small, affordable cars worldwide for decades before Nissan replaced it with its own name in the 1980s. Nissan revived the brand in 2013 for budget models in markets such as India, Indonesia and Russia, before phasing it out again in the early 2020s.
